MPC TransPort T2300 Review
Laptop Mag is talking about the MPC TransPort T2300 in a new review, and their byline on the article is: “Secure but far from boring“.
Let’s see what they think about the new MPC TransPort T2300 latop:
The MPC TransPort T2300 is a sleek thin-and-light system that offers a number of amenities for professional users without slacking in the multimedia department. This update of the Transport T2200 offers increased performance, improved graphics, and maintains what made the original appealing in the first place: an integrated biometric fingerprint scanner. At $2,410, the Transport T2300 laptop from MPC is not cheap, but it’s worth it for those that need serious performance and data protection.
The lid of this system is made of dull aluminum, but once it’s opened up, the first thing you’ll notice is that the keyboard area is entirely blue. The effort to try something different is appreciated, but it’s a jarring sight. Follow-up systems generally shrink down a bit, but the MPC Transport T2300 is actually slightly larger than its predecessor at 12.9 x 10.8 x 1.3 inches and 5.7 pounds.
The excellent productivity performance, the biometric security feature, good graphics and the strong wireless range are well appreciated.
“Overall, the MPC TransPort T2300 laptop is a strong candidate for security-conscious power users that want to be mobile. It crams a lot of features into a portable body and doesn’t leave you out in the cold in terms of performance. For those willing to sacrifice some battery life, it’s a good choice.”
