PC Magazine writes about the new Toshiba Qosmio G25-AV513 (review):

The Qosimo G25 laptop from Toshiba has the most AV ports we’ve seen on a multimedia notebook, including a TV tuner, component video, and composite video in. And this Media Center’s new design means that the desktop replacement laptop can slide right into your entertainment center among your other electronics components. We can’t remember the last time we were this impressed with a laptop.

The exterior of the Toshiba Qosimo G25-Av513 is still silver, but the interior is now a polished black, which is a bit prone to dust and fingerprint smudges. The 17-inch widescreen TruBrite display is brighter than the XBrite screen on the Sony VAIO VGN-A690.

The editor is impressed by the multitude of AV features, the fact that the Qosimo G25 notebook is designed for AV rack. Also the terrific screen and the large hard drives are appreciated. So this new laptop fromToshiba receives 4.5 points out of 5:

“The Toshiba Qosmio G25-AV513 is the best multimedia laptop we’ve seen, especially when it comes to integrating AV features. No other system comes close.”

The good things about this laptop (in short):
Attractive design; bright, crisp display; complete set of ports and connections including built-in TV tuner; power performance, yet runs cool and quiet; slot-loading, double-layer DVD burner; excellent software and support.
